When you ignore a ‘Road Closed’ sign

This is what happens when you ignore two road closed signs, at Kirkdale, and Thorpewood Avenue. The driver thought he could turn up Derby Hill and escape… dreadful thing was the driver was yapping on his phone the whole time, and there were no warning announcements as he was reversing. Perhaps they have different road safety standards in Poland (where the lorry plate was from)? This happens regularly; and will until they open that road…

That is diabolical

Just talking to a mate who was on a bus that did the same thing - driver ignored all the signs and ended up being stopped by road workers. Then had to reverse all the way back down Dartmouth Road.
Most of the passengers got off!

Yet what an attractive colour for the lorry. Contrasts beautifully against the two buildings in the first photo.
