Saw this story from The Londonist.com and it reminded me of a previous discussion on here and other local forums.

People used to say I lived in Brighton but it was ‘Hove actually’

Know several people who live in Windsor whose address is Slough

There are so many examples of this it is unreal.

My favourite is the newest moved border, down by my favourite historic architecture in Bell Green.

Who else has noticed this little gem…

Based on the West Bromley model you could easily claim to be the furthest part of Chelsea… Go big or go home. Lol

Mt favourite is the Black-heath Antique shop in Lewisham which is not in Blackheath and sells a load of old toot.

That Mercedes Benz building is maybe a degree or two west of the parent branch in Beckenham (also not Bromley, but used to be and relocated). I guess they needed to keep Bromley in the name as it identifies the franchise branch it belongs to. But yeah, bizarre.

You obviously missed ‘Prassads’ Independant Roll-Royce and Bentley servicing a few doors down from Halfords.

I think they use Mercedes as delivery vehicles
