This past Saturday in broad daylight there was apparently an incident at Baxter field where a man with a knife was threatening people and had to be tasered by police in order to be subdued. This is of course very concerning and I was hoping that witnesses might shed some light on what happened.

That’s correct. He walked past us on Kirkdale and into the park stabbing the bonnet of a moving bmw in the process. I called the police and was on with them until the police arrived about 10 mins later. He walked through the park and up to Thorpewood before walking back down and at that stage people cleared the park. The police arrived, asked him to drop the knife, he didn’t and they tasered him. His sister was there and I believe there are mental issues with the chap. Creds go to one guy who somewhat talked the guy down inside the park until the police arrived.
