Oh no they are of historical importance and should be preserved. Without them what will we have as an eyesoreon the horizon?

looks like that’s it then.
the peregrine falcon report indicates that there isn’t a nest, and that the structure isn’t suitable for nesting, and that there are sufficient buildings within the approximate vicinity for the needs of the peregrine which are nearby, and the historical record document is clearly a recording of what is there before complete removal.

I don’t like admitting defeat, but this looks pretty final to me.

Maybe the local efforts should have gone at all the other places you listed but to late now except for the empty shops I just can’t see how the gas holders will iir can make a difference unless serious money is spent, the alternative is to end up with an industrial ruin for years to cone
