There’s a lot of it about locally

First two from the combined Friends of Dacres Wood and Mayow Park birdwalk yesterday, the third as I was enjoying a beer with walk leader Paul later.

BTW - I’d never seen bee flies before I moved to Sydenham. They have adapted to look like bumble bees, and in fact practice what is called “brood parasitism” - same as cuckoos - but in this case the victims are bumble bees.
