Building/digging on Dartmouth Road side of Forest Hill station

I can’t remember there ever NOT being construction/digging works involving loud vehicles and dust clouds, and I’ve been here for years. It’s the area I guess between the back of the Dartmouth and its car park, and the railway.

What’re they doing, and will it ever end?
