Dead cat Perry Vale / Dacres Road

Sadly, there was a dead cat in the bushes on the corner of Dacres Road and Perry Vale. I didn’t get a photograph as I was with children when I spotted it, so the only information I can give is that the animal was black and quite large. The council removed the animal yesterday afternoon (again, whilst I was with children, so still couldn’t get details).

That is very sad. I wonder if they check to see if the poor thing was microchipped? Or do you think it could have been a stray?
