Election 2017 Candidates - Ellie Reeves (Labour)

I’ve wondered on which side of the Labour party Ellie sits. This article would suggest on the right. I’ve deduced this as a major supporter of Ellie is the Labour First which supports the moderate wing of the Party and is trying to keep Labour safe from the hard left of their leader.

So good to know from the start that if I were to support Ellie, it would not be a Corbynista puppet. Again something for the Hustings.

Mr Corbyn’s allies face competition from the right-wing Labour First faction, led by former executive member Luke Akehurst.
On his campaign website, Mr Akehurst states: “I will fight against hard left factionalism, whether that is opposing partisan rule changes, defending hard-working incumbent MPs and councillors from sectarian deselection bids or stopping the Momentum faction from becoming a bridgehead back into the party for the entryist far left.”
The group is supporting two sitting constituency party representatives, Ellie Reeves — sister of Labour MP Rachel Reeves — and Johanna Baxter, whose seat is vulnerable.

I spotted Ellie in Forest Hill on Saturday, just before she made this video:

I’ve now seen an Ellie Reeves specific poster. All the others are generic Vote Labour.
