On Fri March 31st there is a big event happening at one of Forest Hill’s cricket clubs.
Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club has been chosen by the England & Wales Cricket Board ahead of 2500+ other clubs as the national focus club for NatWest CricketForce.
On the day, the ECB will be at the club filming a video and there will be former and current England players at the club, as well as some Surrey players.
The aim of CricketForce is to mobilise the club’s members and local community to repair, prepare and improve the club’s facilities.
If members of the local community are willing to lend a hand, or if a local business would like to donate materials or a prize to our fundraising raffle, or would like to sponsor the club in and other way, we would very much welcome any such support.
Your support will help us to get more of the local community active playing sport and engaged in an important social hub for the area that cuts across all ages and backgrounds, for boys, girls, women and men.
