Fire at Bromley Gas-holder Site

Seems like another over-reaction to the presence of redundant gas-holders.

Not to worry - no-one has been hurt and it’s Bromley’s Homesdale Road gasworks site that has gone up.

Police are treating it as suspicious.

I have witnesses who can account for my whereabouts fully for the last 24 hours

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “The cause of the fire is accidental and believed to be due to hot gas works being carried out.”
