Football on Peckham Rye Park

We are a bunch of guys who play football on Peckham Rye Park every Sunday morning. We are pretty organised with goals and bibs. Typically we can have games ranging from 5-a-side to 11-a-side depending on turnout on the day.

We’ve recently had a drop in numbers and are looking for guys interested in playing regularly every week. We are competitive, yet have a laugh, and ideally you should have some experience as well as being prepared with your own kit, boots, shinguards etc.

Looking to get back into playing after a while off due to back injury,used to train every Thursday night
But could only make every other Sunday due to work commitments.

Yeah. No problem… We’re not a club, just a bunch of rejects wanting to play football.
We meet at 10am on Sundays at Peckham Rye Park (SE15 0NR).

We have Samba goals as well as red and yellow bibs. Or you can bring your own.
Just to warn you, some of the guys aren’t very punctual, so be prepared to be standing around for about 20 minutes before people start turning up. I’m usually on time.

No age limit, but you should be over 18 as it can get a little physical.

The new season for the local kids teams has started, so there will be a bunch of games going on. This means you may have to search to find us. On your first visit it’s probably worth you turning up 20 minutes late so as to spot us.

We’re usually the only adult game there, so hopefully you’ll be able to find us.
