Forest Hill Library - ‘The Jewish Festival of Pesach (Passover) – Why I turn my kitchen inside out every year’ with Carol Abrahams

Join us for a Discussion, Presentation and Q&A Session with Carole Abrahams in our Library Events Space.

Pesach memorialises the Exodus from Egypt and freedom from slavery. The main focus of the week-long festival is the home, specifically food. After a lot of preparation it all begins with a family dinner-party, which is also a religious Service.

Come and find out about matzo and maror, and the baby goat that my father bought for two farthings.

Tea and Coffee available.
