Free Festive Philosophy at Forest Hill Library for those aged 6-9 & 10-14 - Sat 17th Dec

The Xmas Files with The Philosophy Foundation.

Come and explore some philosophical thoughts around the festive season. Didn’t like the silly socks you got from Great Auntie Mable? You’ve always been told to tell the truth, what do you do now, upset Mable or lie? In a time of giving is it wrong to want to receive a gift? With climate change issues all around us, are Christmas cards a good idea?

We won’t take anything too seriously at this time of year - and we may even provide mince pies…

Session One: 11.30am - 12.30pm
For young philosophers aged 6-9 years we’ll be taking a gentle think around Xmas thoughts with baubles and bells.

Session Two: 1pm - 2pm
For older philosophers aged 10-14 we’ll get stuck right into the turkey!

These events are free to attend, but registration is essential (for us to know how many mince pies to bring!)
