Getting rid of old bedding

We have a number of old duvets, pillows and sleeping bags that we need to get rid of. They are clean but a bit old and tatty so not really good enough for resale. We are loathe to just throw them away so wondered if anyone had any ideas of what we could do with them - I was thinking recycling or maybe a charity that might want them?

Celia Hammond cat rescue - on Lewisham Way - can always use things like this for bedding. They also use old newspapers so that’s how I recycle mine.
