To gain access

  • Come to the Membership Desk with proof of your home address such as a recent utility bill or a driving licence.
  • Tell us what material you would like to view in the library.
  • Fill out an application form for either a day, or an annual reference pass. If you would like a reference pass lasting a year your card will be issued by the Security Office which is open weekdays from 12-2pm and 5-6.45pm, and 12-2pm on Saturdays.

Unfortunately they’re not allowing the borrowing of books or the use of computers.

Interested to hear from anyone who’s visited Goldsmith’s Library to know if this is worthwhile for the rest of us.

I paid a short visit there when I donated a bunch of business books. It’s pretty big!!!

Obviously, as a college library, the emphasis is on educational texts. But if you have a particular specialist interest (eg astronomy), then well worth a look. Perhaps not ideal for the latest, most up-to-date books, but I would have thought that there’d be plenty there for anyone to delve into.
