There is lots going on at the Horniman during half term week in October (23-29 October):

  • October Half Term Storytelling - stories about ugly animals (Child £5/Adult £1)
  • Horniman Explorers - our Hands on Base is open for you to get up close to the collections (free)
  • Family Art fun - make a bug mask (free, ticketed)

Tuesday

  • October Half Term Storytelling - stories about ugly animals (Child £5/Adult £1)
  • Family Art fun - make a bug mask (free, ticketed)

Wednesday

  • Big Wednesday: Ugly Animals - come along to a day inspired by ugly animals, including comedy, animations and more (free)

Thursday

  • Family Art fun - make a squid puppet (free, ticketed)

Friday

  • Horniman Explorers - our Hands on Base is open for you to get up close to the collections (free)
  • Family Art fun - make a squid puppet (free, ticketed)

Saturday

  • Horniman Farmers’ Market - open from 9am until 4pm
  • Halloween Fair - Meet creepy crawlies in the Wild Fangs cave, enjoy spooky storytelling, and delve into our amazing arts and crafts markets and fabulous food stalls (some free, some charged for activities)
  • Halloween storytelling - stories about Pip, the smallest pumpkin (Child £5/Adult £1)

Sunday
