Helping Somebody Out Over Christmas

At this time of year we try to arrange for somebody to spend Xmas dinner with us at our home, a total stranger who would otherwise be alone at this time of year, it doesn’t matter who it is, they could be a homeless person, in recovery, or young or old-but they need to be local. We would like to invite them around for Xmas Lunch and evening supper if they can handle two very extroverted and loud kids, my busy organising and controlling wife and then me slurring around the place acting like a kid- the only time of the year I can get away with it! - I usually bring in ‘Steve’ a very well known homeless man who frequents Stanstead Road/Perry Hill and who used to sleep in Wickes Car Park, but has now got a place in the homeless hostel at the bottom of Stanstead road. -So, if anybody wants to just come around for a day of madness please do reply as we would love to share our day with you.- Danny
