Come to a free civic commemoration event at the Broadway Theatre.
Local school children will put on a production reflecting this year’s theme – ‘Torn from home’ – through drama, dance, poetry and speeches. The Chair of the Holocaust Committee, Mayoress of Lewisham and a recently arrived refugee will speak about their experiences. At the end of the production, Damien Egan, Mayor of Lewisham, will make a short speech.
