I do deliveries for Lewisham Foodbank and really enjoy it.

Could it be done by bike in terms of weight/packet size? Would be good to combine some daily exercise with doing some community volunteering.
We have a people carrier, so I can do the big family deliveries that are in large crates.
However, they must also look after single people or those with smaller requirements.
