Lewisham’s lost cinemas

An old but interesting article. Animations show “before and after” views of former local cinemas.

The Capitol appears to be the one remaining former cinema in the area that hasn’t been bombed or demolished.

There’s rumours of a new cinema on Cobbs Corner in SE26 in a disused Snooker Hall. I can’t find the source of the rumours though.
