On the Hoof - Forest Hill station departures

I love that I can grab a hot drink on platform 1 while waiting for a train. I love that I’m greeted with a smile, some natter and that beloved of questions… the usual?

So I am saddened to hear of the imminent departure of the two regular staff next week. One goes on maternity leave on Monday. The other, the youbg man, is starting new job. Last day Thursday

If you’ve enjoyed their service as much as I have make sure you tell them before they’re gone.

Hands down the best customer service in south London. Such a lovely girl, too. Also, a shout out to the female doctor or nurse who gives her regular advice on child birth while she’s waiting for her coffee.

I notice she is heavily pregnant when ask me to help closing kiosk outside platform one… yes very nice girl …
