Sylvan Post Closing? [Rumour debunked]

Anyone else got more info than I do?
It’s looking to be closed in a couple of weeks.

bloody well hope not. Its the only decent pub in the area (as far as we are concerned anyway)
Seems the area is going downhill with so many shops and amenity’s closing

I hope not. Had a lovely Mango Cider there just recently. I like the mix between the Signal, Dartmouth arms and Sylvan Post. As well as Bird in Hand for football. All good for different evenings/vibes

I’ve tweeted the owners to find out more. I’ll be gutted. It’s a great pub.

Popped into the Sylvan Post today. Was busy and had a lovely vibe. Staff hasn’t heard it was closing and said they’d just recently hired.

I’ve worked at the Sylvan Post for over a year now and am happy to say we are not closing down. General manager Mike says ‘it’s nothing but ‘a laughable rumour’. Not sure where anyone is receiving this information from- as we are completely oblivious to it. Very odd.

In other words, when asked if the Sylvan Post is really closing down, the ‘horse’s mouth’ now says, “NAAAYYYYYYYY!!!”
