While travelling I got caught in a tropical storm and unfortunately didn’t get my camera under my waterproof jacket fast enough. When I tried using it the following day I found it would take pictures intermittently - often refusing to take a photo when the shutter button was pressed.
The focussing, screen and all buttons still work. Due to the intermittency problem I bought a new camera.
So I have a partially-working Canon 7D DSLR body (no lenses) if anyone would like it. It has its charger and a spare battery. Takes Compact Flash cards.
Here’s a photo I took using the camera a couple of days after the accident (demonstrating the focus system, image processing and sensor are all intact)
