Whilst walking with me on Saturday, my elderly father tripped and fell at the junction of Bovill Road and Agnew Road, breaking his hip. We were both frightened and not sure what to do, not realising how bad the fracture was at the time.
I am very grateful for all the kind people who stopped by - particularly the lovely lady who called an ambulance for us and waited with my dad whilst I legged it home to get more help. There were a tonne of other people who either slowed down in their cars or stopped by to check if we needed help. We were both very touched by the concern.
