A message from the Friends of Blythe Hill Fields…

Happy New Year! May 2017 bring you all you want…and a lovely community festival on our park. We need volunteers to contribute to the organisation, promotion, funding, logistics and set-up of the festival, is it your turn?

Come to the First Friends meeting of 2017 at 8pm on 26th January in the Honor Oak pub (upstairs). If you can’t come, write to secretary@blythehillfields.org.uk to express an interest.

The Blythe Hill Fields Festival receives no financial support from the council, it is entirely dependent upon local people’s passion and ingenuity for its continuation year after year. It can’t happen without us.

The date has not been formally set yet, but it is likely to be held on 1 July this year.

Please share and help spread the word!

Meeting: 8pm on 26 January 2017 upstairs at the Honor Oak Pub, SE23

Would you kindly outline to all park users at Blythe Hill Fields [i.e. to those people who you are supposed to represent - according to your Constitution] on both the park noticeboard and on the Friends’ official website what you are intending to do with any money raised from this year’s Festival?

Come on people, what are you doing July 1st? What not spend a fun day volunteering and getting to know your neighbours whilst raising funds for a great local park?
If you do, see you there!
