The poetry of Beckenham Place Park

Continuing the discussion from Parks in SE23 and around:

If it is true that locals felt Beckenham Place Park was under-used, and it was owned by the local council, for whom it was a drain on resources, I’d have thought the sort of big thinking being brought in here, which aims to give the park rather greater bio-diversity can’t reasonably be opposed.

Maybe if it could be privatised, and kept as a golf course, that might make @anon5422159 happy? Along with the poetry?
