Vote for walking in our neighbourhood!

Hello all SE23ers,

You may have already seen it but “Greater Brockley” (a term devised to cover our beautiful area of South East London - Brockley, Honor Oak, Ladywell and Crofton Park) has made the final shortlist of 10 for “Britain’s Best Walking Neighbourhood” Award. This is a fantastic achievement for SE London - when we’re up against the likes of Brighton, Falkirk and Cambridge. The “Greater Brockley” area has been shortlisted because of the amazing green spaces on our doorsteps - such as One Tree Hill, Blythe Hill, Hilly Fields, Ladywell Fields and The Waterway Link from Sydenham to Deptford.

The ultimate winner of the award is decided by a public vote and voting closes tomorrow (30th June). It would be incredible for a SE London neighbourhood to win - we all know and love our area and its green spaces, but it would be fantastic to get national recognition too and perhaps alter perceptions that those who aren’t “in the know” may have of London neighbourhoods south of the river. The link to vote is here (it only takes 20 seconds): ramblers.org.uk/vote (it’s down as Brockley)

Please, please vote AND share, tweet and WhatsApp the voting link with all your local family, friends and contacts!!!
