Weavers, chair-fixers or have-a-go crafters…

Hi all,

I’ve got a wooden rocking chair frame that I’m sanding down/painting. But it doesn’t have a seat.

Before I sit down with hours of YouTube tutorials and ruin the darn thing, does anyone know of anybody with the skills to re-seat a wooden chair? Either with rush, cord or elastic?

Thank you!

I re did a set of old dining chairs, stretching and replacing the broken webbing on the wooden seat frames and fabric on the seats. May not be the exact thing for your chair. But this company was brilliant in supplying all the tools and materials I needed, and I learned how to do it from their online tutorials.
