Where to eat tonight (Mondays quite a few places closed)

Any recommendations for somewhere in or around SE23 for a nice dinner tonight (not take away)? It’s been a while and kids are away but Mondays lots of places are closed…

Might depend on how far you want to travel but there have been a few good reviews lately of The Alma at Crystal Palace and Heritage in West Dulwich that have caught my attention. Think the latter might be closed on Monday - and possibly booked out now that it’s been in the Guardian.

Mr Bao’s at Peckham is always delicious - and there are a few good bars there to drop into.

Alma is great!

As you mention the kids being away, it might be a shot at the Alma as, controversially, children are barred… so I learnt the other day. I must admit I’m still trying to decide if it’s fair enough or a little mean.

Think it’s fair enough. Each to their own. Makes for a nice chilled vibe in there tbh.
