We’ve just announced that the new World Gallery will be opening on 29 June 2018, and have released some more details about what you can expect to find: https://www.horniman.ac.uk/get_involved/news/horniman-museum-and-gardens-announces-further-details-of-new-world-gallery-opening-on-29-june-2018
We’re also asking for pictures of your objects that mean the most to you, along with the stories behind them. It could be a piece of jewellery, a photograph, a childhood toy or something else. Some of these stories and images will go into the World Gallery, and others will feature online as part of a virtual museum. Find out more and send them in:
